Improved Efficiency with New Buffer Tank
In February, a new buffer tank was installed at Oté in Uden. It is currently being installed and prepared for commissioning.
The new tank has a capacity of 15m³ and is suitable for filling all types of liquids, including those sterilized by heat or filtration.
The decision to install an additional buffer tank was made because, during a production day with two shifts, the available filling capacity could not be fully utilized due to the limited size of the current production and buffer tank.
Since the installation, work has been underway to control various pipeline systems for product liquid, CIP, SIP, and PW. After insulating the tank and pipelines, a platform will be installed to ensure accessibility.
Following this, further programming will be carried out. The entire system will then be tested before the validation process is completed.
According to the current schedule, subject to further progress and validation results, the new buffer tank is expected to be operational in June.
Thanks to the additional tank, we can fully utilize the complete filling capacity of 2 x 15m3 during a production day with two shifts. This ensures a more efficient production process and greater delivery reliability.

In februari is bij Oté in Uden een nieuwe buffertank (CC23008) geplaatst. Momenteel wordt deze geïnstalleerd en voorbereid voor ingebruikname.
De nieuwe tank heeft een volume van 15m3 en is geschikt om alle vloeistoffen te kunnen uitvullen; zowel vloeistoffen die door hitte als door filtratie worden gesteriliseerd.
Er is gekozen om een extra buffertank te plaatsen omdat bij een productiedag bestaande uit 2 ploegen, de capaciteit van de huidige aanmaak- en buffertank niet voldoende was om de beschikbare uitvulcapaciteit volledig te kunnen benutten.
Sinds de plaatsing wordt er onder andere gewerkt aan het aansturen van de diverse soorten leidingen voor productvloeistof, CIP, SIP en PW. Na het isoleren van de tank en de leidingen wordt nog een bordes geplaatst om toegankelijkheid te realiseren.
Aansluitend wordt nog een en ander geprogrammeerd. Daarna wordt de totale installatie getest, waarna de validatie kan worden afgerond.
Volgens de actuele planning, onder voorbehoud van verdere voortgang en resultaten van de validaties, wordt de nieuwe buffertank in juni in gebruik genomen.
Dankzij de extra buffertank kunnen we bij een productiedag met twee ploegen de volledige uitvulcapaciteit van 2 x 15m3 optimaal benutten. Dit zorgt voor een efficiënter productieproces en een hogere leverbetrouwbaarheid.
